Cola Pot Roast with Vegetables
Buy Sutton & Dodge® Chuck Roast.
Coat 5- to 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker, layer roast, potatoes, onion, carrots and celery. Sprinkle with soup mix and pepper.
Pour cola over soup mix. Cover; cook on LOW setting 9 to 11 hours or until roast and vegetables are tender.
With slotted spoon, remove vegetables and roast from slow cooker; place vegetables on serving platter and roast on cutting board. Cover with aluminum foil to keep warm.
In small bowl, whisk together cold water and flour; stir into juices in slow cooker. Cover; cook on HIGH setting 15 minutes or until thickened.
Cut roast into serving-size pieces; serve with vegetables and gravy.
