  • 1pound Sutton & Dodge® Strip Steaks
  • 1tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3tablespoon butter, divided
  • 0.25cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 0.5cup dry red wine
  • 0.5cup beef broth
  • 1tablespoon packed brown sugar
  • 0.5teaspoon tsp. dried thyme

Heat oil in large skillet on MEDIUM-HIGH.  Place steak in skillet. Cook 8 to 12 minutes, turning once, until cooked through (160°F). Remove steak from skillet; keep warm.  Step 2
